Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand product/machine design and manufacturing requirements.
Design the aesthetics and functionality of components and the complete product.
Present design concepts and incorporate feedback/modifications as required.
Engineer full product solutions by integrating custom-developed designs with off-the-shelf components.
Test product designs using CAD models, simulations, and physical prototypes.
Investigate suitable materials and production processes for manufacturing.
Revise and modify CAD files throughout the development process.
Identify new systems and processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost savings.
Perform complex engineering calculations for product validation.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and suppliers.
Plan and manage timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the required quality.
2–5 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, and KeyShot.
Proven expertise in DFM (plastics, sheet metals, casting).
Strong skills in CAD/CAM, 3D modeling, surface modeling, SolidWorks tools, and Alias software.
