First Ride & Handling

First Ride & Handling

Before You Ride

Ensure battery is charged, Check brakes & mirrors, Make sure side stand is up.

While Riding

Accelerate smoothly, Maintain safe distance, Follow traffic rules & wear helmet.

Parking

Stop completely, Engage side/centre stand, Turn off & remove key.

Charging The Battery

Turn off the vehicle, locate the charging port under the front seat. Insert the charger plug into the vehicle’s charging port, then connect the charger to a 220V AC power outlet. Monitor the charging status on the charger.

Blinking Red Light: Charging in progress

Solid Red Light: Fully charged. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

Powering On the Vehicle

If the vehicle does not start:

Check the battery charge level.
Ensure the emergency cut-off switch (MCB) is in the correct position.

Understanding the Instrument Cluster

Speedometer – Displays the current speed.

Battery SOC (State of Charge) – Indicates battery level.

Odometer & Trip Meter – Shows distance covered.

Mode Indicator – Displays the selected riding mode.

First Ride & Handling

Control your Quanta S just a palm away, with features built for your daily commute.

QUANTA S offers three riding modes:

Eco Mode (40kmph) - Maximizes battery efficiency for longer rides.

Power Mode (55kmph) - Balanced performance for daily commutes.

Sport Mode (75kmph) - Maximum acceleration for high-speed rides.

Maintenace & Troubleshooting

Issue

: Vehicle won't start

Possible Cause

: Battery not charged/MCB is off

Solution

: Charge battery fully/Turn on MCB

Issue

: Low range

Possible Cause

: Low tire pressure

Solution

: Inflate tires properly

Issue

: No acceleration

Possible Cause

: Side stand down

Solution

: Lift the stand completely

: Unresponsive brakes

: Dust build-up or wear

: Clean/Replace brake pads

Vehicle Do's & Dont's

Do’s

  • Make sure the charger is securely attached to the charging port, and the other end is plugged into a properly functioning socket that is free from dust and debris.
  • Always maintain a State of Charge % (SOC%) between 20-80% for optimal battery health.
  • Always Park the vehicle on the centre stand and in a shaded area, even while charging.
  • If leaving your Quanta S unused for more than three days, charge it up to at least 85% before storage (Recommended 100%).
  • Vehicle washing should be carried out at authorized service station.
  • Always contact Gravton's authorized service providers for maintenance or troubleshooting.

Dont’s

  • Refrain from driving the vehicle when the charge drops below 20%, as it may affect battery lifespan.
  • Ensure the charging connectors are clean and use only the authorized charger to prevent damage.
  • Do not carry your charger while riding, as vibrations may impact its electronics and cause malfunctioning.
  • Avoid tampering with the electronics and wiring for troubleshooting to prevent potential issues.
  • Leaving the vehicle and battery for prolonged time might affect the life of the battery. As the vehicle consists of battery- and its fixed battery

Note: Any deviation from these standards will void the warranty. Refer to the USER MANUAL for more details. These guidelines are in place to ensure your safety and enhance your riding experience.
